For lunch today I made PB&J with baby carrots and watermelon. After a bit I heard Millie begin singing 'Happy Birthday to you' with a big smile. I look down and see she has put her carrot sticks in her sandwich like candles. She was so pleased with herself. Doesn't the Lord make 2 year olds so darn cute for a reason?
I need to remember these moments when she is telling me, 'but I don't want to obey' or 'NO!'.
This morning she was playing in the garage and said, almost to herself, 'the clouds are beautiful today'.
So sweet...we really do delight in our little girl.
