Tornado Warning
We had a bit of an adventure on Friday evening when we had sirens going off like crazy for a tornado warning. It's always hard to know if you have to take them seriously, but when both the town and Taylor sirens went off, we decided to take the kids to the basement. Well, it was no fun to go through all this by ourselves, so the Ross's and the Demorests joined us. We all headed to the basement from about 10:00pm to 10:30pm. My kids thought it was pretty great! Somehow the moms were all in the basement with the kids and the Dads were on the front porch keeping a look out...???

And to think I was huddled with two kids in our PANTRY while Mike was "keeping watch!" The Sells called from their basement next door, inviting us over. I declined. I didn't want to put on a bra.
looks more like a social event than a weather emergency!!!! glad you averted disaster and now have a fun memory! the kids will never be scared of storms again1
