The other day we ventured over to a local farm that sells apples, pumpkins and a bit of other produce. It's not a pumpkin patch, but it is a great little place with a wonderful selection of apples and fairly inexpensive pumpkins (what is it with the price 0f pumpkins anyway?).
So, we gathered a big variety of apples to buy and four were eaten before we even left the farm. It really is a working farm too, as evidenced by the various smells we experienced while there. You can see the cows across the street (likely the source of said smell).

great pix of your kids!!! how is it that they've gotten so big? that pumpkin with the ginormous stem is all kinds of cool! i'll have to look for one. we go to a LAME pumpkin patch here b/c it is free. i buy my pumpkins from the grocery store 4/$10 any size. i love my grocery store! it's not exactly a memorable experience, and you won't find me blogging about it, but i love it!
